Media Creation
Design Mastery, Media Production & Digital Art Direction, AI Assisted RealizationThis semester offers students the opportunity to explore professional media creation in an interdisciplinary environment. You will develop skills in conceptualizing, designing, and producing media content while incorporating user-centered design principles and emerging technologies like Virtual Production. Throughout the semester, you will experiment and learn to work with industry-standard tools, refine your creative ideas through iterative design, and test your concepts to ensure they meet professional standards.
Collaboration is a key in this program. You will work closely with IT professionals, designers, filmmakers, and other media specialists to bring projects to life. During the semester you will attend showcase events where you show your efforts and experience the work of others. By the end of the semester, you will have built a strong portfolio showcasing your products in media creation and your readiness for the professional field.
Media Agency
With a team of multidisciplinary students you found your own virtual media agency, including branding and communication.
Industry Project
With Fontys partners and stakeholders from the creative industry you will work on a diverse set of possible projects around the topic of media creation. Possible projects include social media marketing, interactive asset creation, (3D) animation, filmmaking, XR, and virtual production.
Showcase Presentations
You present your products in a professional way during 3 showcase events, ensuring the visibility of your project as well as getting professional feedback from teachers and stakeholders.
It is expected of you to be able to work in creative environments. Having experience with brainstorming, concepting and some of the professional tools to create visuals is highly recommended. This makes this semester a perfect fit for students coming from Interactive Media.
