In today’s digital world, IT infrastructure plays a crucial role in business operations. In this semester, you will explore the fundamentals of networking, cloud platforms, and DevOps, gaining the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to manage modern IT environments.

You will learn how networks are designed, deployed, and secured, covering key concepts such as perimeter defense security and device management. Additionally, you will explore different cloud platforms, understanding how they support business agility and scalability.

DevOps practices will be introduced to help you automate and streamline IT processes, ensuring efficient collaboration between development and operations teams. You will also work with operating systems, understanding their role in networked environments and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Throughout the semester, you will not only develop technical expertise but also gain insights into real-world IT challenges, preparing you for a career in networking, cloud computing, and IT security.

Activities

During this semester, you and your team will analyze, design, and realize an IT solution for a real-world company. You will apply your knowledge of networking, cloud platforms, and DevOps to create a secure and efficient IT environment.

Throughout the project, you will manage and control your solution, ensuring it meets business requirements while maintaining security and performance. You will learn to advise stakeholders by assessing IT needs, proposing improvements, and justifying your design choices.

Your learning journey will be supported by a mix of practical exercises, workshops, and challenges, helping you develop hands-on skills in perimeter security, device management, and operating systems. Collaboration with external stakeholders will give you insight into real-world IT challenges, while teachers and coaches will guide you in refining your technical and professional skills.

By the end of the semester, you will have built a solid foundation in networking and cloud technologies, enabling you to design, implement, and manage IT solutions in a business context.

A basic understanding of networking and some hands-on experience with an operating system will help you get started in this semester. However, curiosity and a problem-solving mindset are just as important. No advanced technical skills are required—this semester is designed to build on foundational knowledge and develop practical expertise.

Outflow
After completing this semester, we recommend continuing with Advanced Networking & Cloud Technologies, where you will deepen your knowledge in security, automation, and cloud management. The skills acquired here will also be valuable in DevOps, IT security, and infrastructure management, preparing you for various IT roles.
