Every IT related project starts with a thorough business analysis in which the core problems and processes are identified, data is analyzed, requirements are drafted, and solutions are designed and implemented. In this semester you will be introduced to the techniques, tools, and skills required to manage such a project.
We will teach you how to analyze business processes to find wastes and bottlenecks and then optimize them. You will learn how to manage business data, analyze it, and transform it into vital information. And finally you will be learn how to create applications making use of low code solutions.
While learning these techniques you will also be trained in the art of project management, team management, and other skills needed to work both as a Business ICT professional.
During the entire semester you and your team will work on designing an IT solution for an actual company. As you progress you will make use of the (practice) materials we give you to acquire the skills you will need. Additional knowledge will be through weekly workshops and challenges. You will work closely with your external stakeholders and be supported by your teachers/coaches.
There are no prerequisites for this semester so all are welcome. Students with natural sense curiosity as well as a willingness to interact with and help people will have the smoothest experience.
We recommend that after completing this semester you following up with the Business IT and Data Analysis’ Main semester where they will expand on your acquired skills and experience. That being said, the problem solving skill and techniques you have gained will be useful in most other topics.
