In the advanced cyber security semester you will specialise as a cyber security specialist, and increase your research and development skills. With this you will also work on your professional skills. The standard home-bases for security specialization are the defense side, the attack side, or the developer side.
From your security specialisation home base you can define your learning path (learning goals and activities) yourself in one of these home bases. In a group project you will work on research and development for a research or development project. In a personal project day you can cover an extra topic, cover a second specialization, use your side job for learning (if it is relevant), or prepare for a master program that you might want to continue with after your bachelor graduation.
In your projects and specialisation you also develop your professional skills to a level with which you can start your graduation, such as your research skills, communication in presentations and writing, together with collaboration and project management skills.
The standard preparation semester is main Cyber Security Essentials.
The outflow is level 3 competences in analysis, design, realization, advice, and manage and control. The semester prepares you for a graduation internship. The semester makes a logical combination with, for example, advanced semesters Network & Cloud Architecture Innovation, Complex Software Systems, Hi-Tech Embedded Software Engineering and Industry 5.0.
